This 3-week swim program is designed for swimmers or triathletes that are in off season or starting back after some time off. The idea of this program is to go ‘back to basics’ and focus on the 3 fundamentals of efficient freestyle swimming; 1. Body position, 2.Catching water, 3. Underwater pull. There will be 3 workouts per week with Monday as drill focus, Wednesday as tempo and Friday as Endurance. The 3-week maintenance/off season program can be found in the B78 Endurance Hub program library. Throughout this program you may find terms that you are not familiar with. If this is the case please refer to the ‘Swim Lingo’ document available at the B78 Endurance Hub programs section. We wish you the best of luck with your training.
The set distances will be geared towards and intermediate swimmer (2000-2500m) but can be easily adapted to make shorter or longer depending on ability level.
